The world is a big place, but coffee is something that always makes it feel smaller.
As you walk to your local cafe, chat to the barista (who automatically makes your regular) and chat with the guy down the road, you're engaging in a modern day village.
And that's what makes coffee so special. It reminds us to pause, to chat and to be human. And it also reminds us of the innate desire in us to belong to something that's bigger than just us as individuals.
The Village Coffee was created to do just that. As a means to look beyond ourselves, to help another kind of coffee village all the while pouring a stellar cups of coffee along the way.
And so with every cup of coffee you drink you can know that you're bringing a little bit more life, joy, water, food and sustainability to the beautiful people of Muhura, Rwanda.
We like to think of it as coffee villages having each others back. Because just as Muhura supplies you with your caffeine hit today, you're providing them with a better day, tomorrow.
